Our Wildflower Honey is made right here in the mountains of Western North Carolina. It has light floral notes and tastes clean, crisp, and sweet. This honey is perfect in hot tea or drizzled over a fresh-baked biscuit.
Wildflower honey is a polyfloral honey, which means that bees visit several different kinds of plants in their pursuit of nectar. We harvest our Wildflower honey in the springtime after the bees have visited local daffodils, dandelions, buttercups, tulips and dogwoods.
Wildflower Honey is also known for helping with allergies, but you’ll have to BEE sure to choose a local Wildflower Honey. That will increase the chances that the plants your nearby bees are pollinating are the same ones affecting your allergies!
