The Bee Necklace in Sterling Silver with a Sterling Chain and clasp is part of the Bee Line Collection from local Goldsmith and jewelry artist Susan McDonough.
Carved in wax and cast using a lost-wax process in Sterling Silver. Susan made a mold of the first bee so she can make more bees by injecting the mold with wax and casting the bee in Sterling. The Bee Necklace is finished with a dark patina in the recess and polished with a Brass Brush finish on the wings for shine! This bee has a great weight and movement.
