Mulled wine is a holiday tradition for many a bee charmer – especially when made with our own Chai-Infused Honey. The other great thing about mulled wine is that it’s an easy way to take a less expensive wine and kick it up a notch. Wine not?
Mulled Wine with Chai-Infused Honey
- 2 bottles of red wine (dry cabernets work well)
- 1 orange cut into slices
- 7 cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 star anise
- ½ cup chai-infused honey
Add wine into a crockpot on low, along with all other ingredients and let sit for 2-4 hours.
If you are short on time, add all ingredients in a pot on the stove and let it sit for 30 minutes on warm. Make sure not to bring to a boil if using stovetop!
If using a sweeter wine, consider using less honey… or not! 🙂
