Pop the champagne! It’s time to celebrate our five-year anniversary. Or perhaps we should toast with a honey-inspired cocktail. In honor of Five for the Hive, Jeremy Hood, a mixologist also known as The Urban Gastronome, has developed a specialty cocktail recipe featuring our own lavender-infused honey.

Lavender Bees Knees Gin Cocktail made with Asheville Bee Charmer Lavender-Infused Honey.

We asked Jeremy what he likes about working with honey:

It’s nice to have a connection with locally sourced ingredients when creating craft cocktails. Asheville Bee Charmer has so much variety, it makes it fun! Honey is a staple of my inventory and I have used it for several events. The gin I chose from H&H Distillery/Cultivated Cocktails also brings another locally sourced product to the table, as well as the lavender I use from the WNC Farmer’s Market.
